　　我的优点和缺点

　　A Greek proverb says " The hardest thing is knowing yourself ",in my opinion,knowing yourself is the hardest but the most important.Only knowing yourself ,you can improve yourself.

　　有句希腊名言说“最困难的事情就是认识自己”，我认为，认识自己是最难的，但是也是最重要的。只有认识自己，才能取得进步。

　　To me,I have three merits. They are filial piety, honest and hardworking. Filial piety and honesty are the two basic qualities that people should have. And working hard can help to get knowledge and improve myself. However, no one is perfect. I have some week points, too. For example, I never make plans for my life and study. As a result, sometimes I am a little laziness because I don’t have tasks that must be finished.

　　对我来说，我有三个优点：孝顺、诚实、努力。孝顺和诚实是人类所具备的两个最基本的条件。努力能让你获得知识提高自己。然而，人无完人，我也有些缺点。比如，我从来都不为自己的生活和学习做计划。所以，我有时候有点懒，因为我没有给自己制定必须完成的任务。

　　Through knowing myself well，I hope I can change and be better.

　　通过对自己的自我认识，我希望我可以改变自己，做得更好。

　　我最尊敬的人

　　My father is the man I respect most.Stern as he may be, he never fails to show his care and consideration.Once I broke a neighbor’s window.Seeing nobody around, I ran away immediately.

　　When Dad came home, he noticed my uneasiness and asked me what had happened.I could only tell him the truth.Rather than scold me, he praised my honesty and then encouraged me to apologize to our neighbor.I learned from this episode that not only does Dad take care of our health but he also teaches us how to be good citizens.How lucky I am to have such a good father!

　　我父亲是我最尊敬的人。虽然他可能严厉了一点，但他无时无刻不表现出他的关心和体贴。有一次我打破邻居窗户的玻璃。因为看到附近没有人在场，我立刻就跑掉。

　　当父亲回家时，他注意到我的不安，因而询问我发生了什么事。我只好告诉他实话。他不但没责骂我，反而称赞我的诚实，并鼓励我向邻居道歉。从这件事我就了解到，父亲不仅照顾我们的健康，他也教导我们如何成为好公民。我有这样一位好父亲真是太幸运了!

　　我的日常生活

　　Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.

　　I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.

　　After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

　　The space

　　The earth moves round the sun,and the moon moves round the earth.When our part of the earth turns to the sun,it is day. When our part of the earth turns away from the sun,it is night.

　　The sun is bigger than the moon.But sometimes the moon looks bigger than the sun,because it is much nearer to the earth.

　　The sun is very bright.It gives very strong light.The moon looks quite bright,too,but it doesn‘t give any light at all.The light from the moon comes from the sun.

　　The moon looks much bigger and brighter than the other stars.But in fact many stars are much bigger and brighter than the moon.They look smaller than the moon because they are farther away from the earth.
