　　Baby On the Bus  公交车上的婴儿

　　A: That child just won't stop crying!

　　那个孩子是不会停止哭的。

　　B: It's been crying for the last three stops!

　　整整哭了三站路了。

　　A: The mother has tried feeding it already.

　　他妈妈已经试着给他吃的了。

　　B: I guess she can't change a diaper on the bus.

　　我想他不能在公共汽车上换尿布。

　　A: I read once that babies' ears hurt on the bus.

　　我看了一下，在公共汽车上婴儿的耳朵感觉不舒服。

　　B: Why do their ears hurt?

　　为什么他们的耳朵感觉到痛？

　　A: It's because of the air pressure in the bus.

　　这是因为在公共汽车上的气压。

　　B: Is it like when your ears hurt on a plane?

　　就像在飞机上你的耳朵感觉到痛一样？

　　A: Well, my ears hurt, too.

　　哦，我的耳朵也痛。

　　B: I don't think that's because of air pressure.

　　我不认为那是因为气压。

　　A: I can't stand it anymore! Let's get off now.

　　我不能忍受婴儿的哭声了！现在让我们下车吧。

　　B: Alright. That screeching is getting to me, too.

　　是的，那声音对我来讲也是刺耳的。
